Bourbon newbie myself but so far this is the best bourbon I\u0026#39;ve had. The regular WR tastes a bit weird to me but the DO pretty much quells those notes and besides burning less it also presents a really complex, dark and rich profile with pronounced oakiness, though not charredness in particular, a hint of caramel and coffee in the nose and some red wine or fermenting red fruits as well as a little sweet corn and sourdough on the palate, and if you\u0026#39;re in a s mood it even goes super well with coke.
